New Beam is constructed

I´ve constructed my new beam (-8cm)I´ll hope to get the Material and Parts after Christmas ;-)

beam extender

I constucted and build a new beam extender for the Volksrod of a friend of mine.It´ll extend the front beam 10 inches und takes it 2 inches to the ground.

The summer has gone and I had done nothing at my bug because I went to a lot Hot Rod and Custom meetings to take cool pics.
But now it´s time to weld and build up the bug...to get him ready for the next season

long long time

long time has gone since my last post ut I think I´ll start with my next work at the beetle in he next week ;-).But first I´ll post pics and steps of working on a new created beam extender for the volksrod of my friend.

to much private things

At this time and the last eight weeks ago,there is/were so much private things for me to do,that there was no chance to do anything at the bug. :-(
I hate times like that!!! I´ll hope that I can finish my welding work at the bug at the beginning of August and after that I can start with the paintwork. :-)

new front hod for the bug

At the big Bug Meeting in Hanover,there was a very big swap meeting,too.There I got it...a new "long" hood for my bug.



now I only need a new passenger door and all metal is together.

Maikäferteffen Hanover

Yesterday was one of the biggest Bug and aircooled Meetings in Europe,the Maikäfertreffen in Hanover/Germany.



For me it was the first time to be there and it was great.Just look at the photos I´ve taken.

My laserd things

Yeah,today I got my laserd parts.New Sideparts to build a narrowed beam and self constructed beam adjusters. ;-)
Now I nead only one thing.......an old original front beam,but I´ll get one next month.
